CONNECT YOUR HUB

Connect Home Assistant to Tadaima

No port forwarding, no VPN. Your hub makes an outbound-only connection to the Tadaima cloud, and your home shows up on the dashboard and in LINE.

You need a hub running Home Assistant 2024.11 or newer.

  1. 01

    Have a Tadaima account ready

If you do not have one yet, create a free Tadaima account first — you will sign in with it during setup.

  2. 02

    Install the Tadaima integration

Copy the custom_components/tadaima folder into your Home Assistant config/custom_components/ directory. The layout also matches what HACS expects for a custom repository.

  3. 03

    Restart Home Assistant

    Restarting loads the new integration.

  4. 04

Add the integration and sign in

Go to Settings → Devices & services → Add integration → Tadaima, then sign in with your Tadaima email and password — the same account as the dashboard. Only a refresh token is stored on your hub; your password is never saved.

  5. 05

Come back here to confirm the connection

When you are signed in, this page shows your hub status live. Once it is online, continue to the dashboard and LINE linking.

How it stays safe

  • All traffic is outbound HTTPS/WSS from your hub. The cloud can never dial into your home network.
  • Remote actions are a fixed, safe allowlist — lights, switches, fans, scenes, and thermostats. Locks and covers can never be flipped remotely.
  • Commands are scoped to your own account only; nobody else can see or reach your hub.
